Update June 3

Well....the store is now closed and stuffed (literally) into my rec room, foyer and laundry room! I'll be spending the next few weeks organizing and setting things up again. (see below for pictures)

I got positive feedback from everyone on my idea of an online version of the store, so I will go ahead with that plan and build it over the summer. Once it's ready I'll let you know by updating this page and sending out a newsletter.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support over the past month. It's not been an easy one! But it was very gratifying to get thanks and appreciation from my customers which helped me get through it all.

Closing May 21, 2010

DreamChaser Books will be closing on May 21, 2010. I survived 2009, barely, but that used up any savings I had remaining. But business has just not picked up enough for me to continue on.

I don't know what my plans are yet....other than to take some time off! After that I may look into setting up an online only version of the store. I just don't know yet. I have plenty of ideas. I just don't know which of them I'll pursue. Right now I'm just working on getting through the next couple of weeks and getting the stock sold, and then packing up and moving everything.

When I implement any or all of my plans, I will post it here. I'll also let you know by email if you're on the newsletter list (sign-up for it on the right).
